Terms of Service

These terms apply when you hire Ads by Rex ("Rex", "I", "we") for a one-time ad audit or recurring ad audits. They're written in plain English. By paying an invoice or payment link, you agree to them.
The services
- Free teardown. A short, no-cost review of your publicly visible ads and website. No account access or payment required, and it doesn't obligate either of us to anything further.
- The audit. A one-time, flat-fee review of one Google or Facebook/Meta ad account that identifies where budget is leaking and hands you a prioritized, plain-English list of the exact fixes to make. I diagnose and document; I do not implement changes or manage your account.
- Recurring audits (the watch). The same audit repeated on a set schedule (e.g. twice a year), billed each period until cancelled. Still diagnosis only — the fixes stay yours to act on.
Quotes, payment, and acceptance
Each paid engagement is confirmed by an invoice or payment link that states the price and scope. Paying that invoice or link is your acceptance of these terms and the scope it describes — no separate signature is required. Payments are processed by Stripe; I never see or store your full card details. The audit is a one-time charge; recurring audits are a subscription charged at the start of each period until cancelled.
What the audit includes
The audit covers one ad account and delivers a written report: every issue I find, ranked by impact, with the exact fix for each. Standard turnaround is 5 business days from payment, and it includes one round of follow-up questions on the delivered report. I work from read-only access and do not make changes to, or manage, your account — implementing the fixes is yours to do (or to hand to whomever you choose). Additional accounts or platforms are quoted separately.
No guarantee of results
I bring real expertise to improving your ad setup, efficiency, and structure — but advertising results depend on many factors outside my control (your budget, offer, market, competition, and the ad platforms themselves). I do not guarantee specific results such as a particular number of leads, sales, cost-per-result, or return on ad spend.
Your responsibilities
- Give me the read-only access I need (e.g. to your Google Ads or Meta Business accounts) to review them, and remove it whenever you wish.
- Provide accurate information and timely feedback so work isn't delayed.
- Pay your own ad spend. My fees are for my services only and do not include your advertising budget, which you pay directly to Google, Meta, or other platforms.
Cancellation and refunds
- The audit: because work begins promptly after payment, audit fees are non-refundable once work has started.
- Recurring audits: cancel anytime — just let me know and I'll stop the subscription. You won't be charged for the next period, but the current period already paid is non-refundable.
Confidentiality
I treat your business information, account data, and results as confidential and use them only to provide the agreed services. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Work product
Once you've paid for an engagement, the deliverables I create for you in that engagement (the audit report and its recommendations) are yours to use. Tools, templates, and general know-how I use to produce them remain mine.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid me for the engagement that the claim relates to. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost ad spend. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Independent contractor
Ads by Rex is an independent contractor, not your employee, partner, or agent. Nothing here creates an exclusive relationship, and either of us is free to work with others.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
I may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect when you pay for an engagement is the one that applies to it. I'll update the date at the top of this page when they change.
